Ayva here! My buddy Bec Lew is going to be a film maker. She aspires to accomplish this in her life because "it'll be so cool because you get to make movies and you get to find the perfect angle. You get to create what other people want to see and editing is dopeee". Unlike traditional filmmaking, digital filmmaking uses computer animation, computer production editing and innovative camera technologies to produce movies and television. This really interests Becca and she thinks that a career in this field would never fail to excite her.
Digital media is taking the world by storm. It is a new form of art produced by the use of digital technology. This new art form has made a drastic impact on our society by transforming classic activities such as drawing, sculpting, painting, and music, and can be recognized as things such as photography, net art, and visual reality. Many forms of digital art can be seen within the media through advertisements, as these art pieces are typically very engaging and appealing to the human eye. This art can be created through extensive computer programs, or through something as simple as scanning a photograph. There are endless forms of digital media, and though there are arguments against this new process not being considered "true art", it is the new way for artists to express creativity and document history in the making.
With the growth of the internet and its web of interconnections among TV, videos, DVD's, advertising, magazines- and even personal communication through email, cellphones, and instant messaging- the manner in which knowledge and information is sent or received has changed in major ways.
Indicate (in paragraph form) how you feel the way you send and receive knowledge has changed your life. I feel that the growth of the internet and its web of interconnections with different types of media has had a large impact on my life. Since I was born technology has always been a part of my life and has rapidly grown as I have gotten got older. Technology has changed the way I send and receive knowledge by making it much quicker and efficient. Without the use of internet and its web of interconnections, I would have to spend more of my time trying to research things using different techniques, such as books or people. It would also take more time to communicate with people, as they would not be as close as the touch of a button. |
