What is the persistence of vision?
Persistence of vision refers to the optical illusion whereby multiple discrete images blend into a single image in the human mind and believed to be the explanation for motion perception in cinema and animated films. This means that when several images are put together and viewed quickly, an illusion is created to the human eye, causing us to see one, moving image. this is used mainly in movies.
